Our Story

QuickSub was created to solve the biggest challenge of being a youth coach - making sure each kid has the opportunity for equal playtime on the field as they are learning new sports.
I love coaching for my 4 kids. Over the years of coaching I've tried pen and paper, begging a parent, and countless apps to make tracking substitution easy — nothing really worked.

• Pen and paper with my watch timer isn't reliable.
• Parents, while well meaning, forget to write things down.
• Every app I've tried is too cluttered, with too many taps and drags and drops. I end up spending so much time fiddling with the app that I miss the most important point of coaching: watching the kids, cheering them on, and being their coach.

We built QuickSub to solve these problems with a simple, mobile-first approach.
My overarching goal was to build a substitution app that, during the game, you don't have to glance at for more than a couple of seconds. Whether it is soccer, flag football, or any team sport (more sports to come!), QuickSub makes substitution management easy.

Every young athlete deserves equal opportunities to play, learn, and grow. QuickSub helps you, the coach, to focus on what matters most: developing players, building team spirit, and creating positive experiences that will help kids fall in love with sports.
